A great novel fraught with intrigue, deception, and smoke and mirrors; the illusionist’s stock in trade. Actually, it is more of a classroom text. It is very well written, extremely well researched, factual, informative, and entertaining. It is worth the price of admission to read about the rich industrialists’ foundations and their ultimate influence on the medical colleges and universities and how that influences our view of diet today.

Muscle, Smoke & Mirrors is the definitive study of the Iron Game as it relates to nutrition; when it got there, how it got there, why it got there, and where it might be going.
